Corey Heim Makes History with 10th Truck Series Win at Charlotte

It was Heim time × 10 in Charlotte on Friday night as Corey Heim captured his 10th victory of the season, setting a new all-time record in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Heim had tied the previous single-season high of nine wins held by Gregg Biffle after dominating in New Hampshire. But this night was even more challenging.

Driving for Tricon Garage, Heim started on pole at the Charlotte Roval but was pushed into the Turn 1 wall by Grant Enfinger, forcing him to rejoin the race from the rear with a damaged truck. Despite the setback, Heim charged through the field.

Meanwhile, Kaden Honeycutt won both Stage 1 and Stage 2. Brent Crews led 56 of the 70 laps, putting Heim’s comeback to the test. With three laps remaining, a caution flag reshaped the outcome—Crews pitted and restarted in seventh, while Heim stayed out. He seized the moment and pulled away to win by over two seconds, with Crews recovering to finish second.

“It was not easy today. I think it was probably the toughest one of the year so far,” Heim said after the race. “Just shows the resilience of this Tricon team. They fixed it up so good for me after that incident … I thought we were done.”
